Returns & Refunds Policy
At Clara&Co, we want you to love every piece you buy from us. We personally vet every item from our suppliers to ensure it meets our standards for quality and style. However, we understand that sometimes an item might not be quite right for you.
1. Your Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the legal right to change your mind and cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.
- Notification: You must inform us of your decision to return an item within 14 days of delivery. Please email us at hello@claraandco.co.uk to start the process.
- Return Window: Once you've notified us, you have a further 14 days to get the item back to us at our business address: Northgate Business Centre, 38-40 Northgate, Newark Upon Trent, Nottinghamshire, NG24 1EZ.
2. Condition of Returns
To be eligible for a refund, items must be returned in the same condition you received them:
- Unworn and unwashed.
- All original tags must still be attached.
- Free from marks (such as makeup, tan, or deodorant) and free from scents (such as perfume or smoke).
As we currently only sell clothing, we reserve the right to refuse a refund if the item shows signs of wear or damage that reduce its value.
3. How to Return
- Postage: At this stage of our journey, customers are responsible for the cost of returning items. We recommend using a tracked service, as the goods remain your responsibility until they reach us.
- Packaging: Please ensure the items are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
4. Refunds
- Processing Time: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email.
- Method: Refunds will be issued automatically to your original payment method (via Stripe).
- Timeline: Please allow up to 10 working days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank's processing times.
- Original Shipping: If you return your entire order, we will refund the cost of standard delivery. If you keep part of your order, the shipping cost is non-refundable.
5. Faulty or Damaged Items
We take great care in hand-picking our stock, but if an item arrives faulty or not as described, your rights are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Please contact us at hello@claraandco.co.uk as soon as possible with a photo of the fault.
- If an item is confirmed faulty, we will provide a full refund or replacement, including the cost of your return postage.
6. Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK law. For more information on your rights as a consumer, you can visit the Citizens Advice website.
