Clara&Co: Terms & Conditions

2. The Contract

By placing an order, you are offering to purchase a product. A legally binding contract is formed between the customer and GMR & CCG Limited only when we dispatch your goods. We reserve the right to decline any order (e.g., due to pricing errors or stock unavailability).

3. Pricing and Payments

• Currency: All prices are shown in GBP (£).
• VAT: We are not currently VAT registered; therefore, VAT is not charged.
• No "Drip Pricing": In accordance with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, all mandatory costs (including delivery) will be clearly visible before you reach the final checkout stage.
• Payments: We use Stripe for secure payment processing. We do not store your card details.

4. Shipping & Delivery

• Carrier: We use Royal Mail Tracked 48.
• Dispatch: We aim to dispatch orders within 48 hours, excluding UK Bank Holidays.
• Delivery Costs: Shipping is calculated at checkout and is payable by the customer.
• Responsibility: Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, we are responsible for your goods until they are delivered to you or a person identified by you.

5. Returns and Right to Cancel

In line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day "cooling-off period."

• Notification: You must notify us within 14 days of receiving your items if you wish to return them. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.
• Condition: Items must be unworn, with original tags attached, and free from marks (e.g., makeup or deodorant) or scents.
• Return Costs: The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the items to clara&co.
• Refunds: If you return your entire order within 14 days, we refund the items plus standard outgoing delivery. For partial returns, delivery is non-refundable.
• Faulty Goods: Under the CRA 2015, if an item is faulty, we provide a full refund, including return postage.

6. Product Care & Liability

• Care Instructions: It is the customer's responsibility to follow care labels (e.g., JDY). GMR & CCG Limited is not liable for damage caused by incorrect washing or "fair wear and tear."
• Limitation of Liability: Our total liability for any loss you suffer as a result of us breaking this contract is strictly limited to the purchase price of the goods you purchased. We are not responsible for indirect losses (e.g., loss of income).
• Insurance: We maintain full Product and Public Liability Insurance.

7. Data Protection & Privacy

We operate in full compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, UK GDPR, and PECR.

• ICO Registration: We are formally registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO Number: [Insert Here]).
• Hosting: Our website is hosted via Vercel.

8. Disputes & Legal Compliance

• Disputes: If we cannot resolve a dispute directly, you may seek Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). We will provide details of a certified ADR provider upon request.
• Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
• Statutory Rights: Nothing in these terms affects your legal statutory rights as a consumer.
